Just a day in the life of an ordinary breastfeeding mom. Ever find yourself walking around the house, forgetting to clasp your bra hooks back? I hate it when I go out in public like this. Surely I’m not the only one!

I am Joy, a happily married mother of two waterbirthed babies. I am a doula and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, who worked as a midwife's assistant at a freestanding birth center in TX. As of 2015, I'm a full-time nursing student who teaches childbirth classes at Park Ridge Health, The Baby Place, in Hendersonville, NC. I love serving laboring moms and I enjoy teaching birth education. I use this blog to write about it all - my life, my children, and my passion of all things childbirth.

this is my life!
So glad I’m not the only one!
I have reacquiring dreams that I will go out in public with my boob still hanging out. I forget to re-clasp and pull down my shirt all the time. So goes life.
I hate those naked-in-public-dreams!
Steve and I were out in public the other day and he was looking towards my chest (I think he was looking at something in my hand or something) but for a split second I was horrified thinking I’d left my boob out.
