At 19 weeks, we still don't know what's brewing inside.
However, I am convinced it's a girl!
At almost 21 weeks, we go in for our first ultra sound.
But before we look at the baby, we look at my cervix and my really full bladder.
Then at the very end, she told us that we're having a boy! OH BOY!
I am Joy, a happily married mother of two waterbirthed babies. I am a doula and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, who worked as a midwife's assistant at a freestanding birth center in TX. As of 2015, I'm a full-time nursing student who teaches childbirth classes at Park Ridge Health, The Baby Place, in Hendersonville, NC.
